Irish Educated Globally Connected – an international education strategy for Ireland 2016 - 2020

The technological higher education sector in Ireland consists of 14 Institutes of Technology, which provide a full range of programmes from certificate, to Bachelor and Master Degrees and up to PhD level.  More information on each of the individual Institutes can be found on their websites and list of all of them can be found here.

The technological higher education sector in this country is about to go through one of the greatest periods of change in recent decades, following the passing into law of the Technological Universities Bill 2015, which enables consortia of higher education institutions to apply for university status. We expect that the first Universities in the technological higher education sector will come into being over the next 12 to 18 months, adding to the uniqueness and diversity of what the irish technoloigcal higher education sector can offer to international students.

Each Institute has an international office to advise on course choices, campus life, accommodation choices and living expenses locally. Click on the logos below for links to each Institute’s international office
